A recent campaign by Reebok India called the ‘Ultimate Fitness Fan’ came to a star-studded end with fitness icon and Reebok India’s brand ambassador John Abraham felicitating the winners at a gym in Mumbai. The six winners of the campaign not only got the chance to flex their muscles with one of the fittest celebrities of the country, but were also crowned Reebok’s fitness ambassadors for a year. Additionally John Abraham was seen sharing his fitness secrets and workout tips with the winners.
The ‘Ultimate Fitness Fan’ campaign is an on-ground and digital led activation which was initiated by Reebok for the very first time in August 2013 with an aim of encouraging more and more consumers to adopt fitness as an integral part of their lifestyle. The campaign comprised of an online ‘Fitness Quotient Test’, on-ground ‘Fit Test’ conducted by Reebok trainers across 21 locations in India and a ‘Fitness Fanatic Finale’ where the final six winners were announced.
Speaking about the campaign Mr. Somdeb Basu, Brand Director Reebok Indiasaid, “We are overwhelmed with the consumer response received for the Ultimate Fitness Fan campaign. An integral part of Reebok’s endeavor to ensure that more and more people engage in fitness activities and become ‘Fit for Life’, the Ultimate Fitness Fan campaign successfully engaged consumers across India both through an on-ground and a digital activation. We are extremely happy to have our fitness ambassador John Abraham support us in this campaign and we now hope to make this a bigger and more engaging platform in 2014”.
On the occasion of felicitating the winners of the contest, John Abraham, brand ambassador for Reebok India said “I am thrilled be here today with the six winners of the Ultimate Fitness Fan campaign. For me fitness is my religion and I feel that it is important for each one of us to engage in some fitness activity or the other. I truly hope that the six winners of Reebok’s Ultimate Fitness Fan campaign act as motivators and encourage more and more people to become ‘Fit for Life’.”
The Ultimate Fitness Fan campaign was well received by the consumers with over 1200 people taking the Fitness Quotient test online and 700 people participating in the on-ground Fit Test. The final six winners chosen at the Fitness Fanatic Finale include Ricky Sahni, Harish Kumar, Avinash, Sonia Lulla, Tarannum Malik, and Supriya Shenoy.
