unnamed (11)unnamed (12)JADE unveils its eloquent collection christened ‘The Gold Mogra’ that  presents the perennial Jasmine in opulent layers, succulent shades and in a thrilling medley of metal. JADE designers, Monica Shah & Karishma Swali echo the purity of ‘The Gold Mogra’ throughout their festive trove; rife with voluminous floor length anarkalis, original and lovingly handcrafted saris and richly-laden cholis. This exclusive range of women’s fashion is the perfect option for anyone looking to dress up in JADE’s festive lineup!s

At a glance, JADE’s exclusive pieces gladden the hearts with nuances of gold, silver and bronze in sculptural embroidery, maille-effect bodices and high sheen borders. Floral motifs form the central theme of the collection that is reflected in bell-shaped silhouettes of multi-layered anarkalis and generously -bordered lehengas that have received a psychedelic reinvention at JADE.

JADE’s dynamic duo has specially handpicked shades of Zinnia reds, Lotus pinks, Hydrangea blues, Citrus greens and Magnolia whites for the collection while vibrant pinks, corals, indigos and rust also up the ante this season. This, combined with exquisitely designed and hand embroidered blouses, play heavily on rich velvets, textured fabrics and metallic tones.

“Our festive collection aims at capturing the ceremonious attributes of the Mogra flower and making heirlooms out of seasonal creations. Each piece tells a story and brings a certain calm from extreme chaos” –Monica Shah.

Layering is in vogue at JADE and as they celebrate their successful five-year reign as an enigmatic design hub, Monica & Karishma experiment widely with lace, silk, tulle – take special note of the structured knee-length jackets this season. Taking inspiration from the Gompas of Ladakh, they recreate the architectural exuberance through unconventional embroidery designs and motifs for the modern bride with an eye for minimalism.

 May the festivities begin!
