TABcab assists Mumbai Traffic Police’s campaign: ‘If Drunk, Do Not Drive’ this New Year
TABcab, Mumbai’s largest phone fleet cab service with 2800 cabs, has come out in full support of Mumbai Traffic Police’s campaign: ‘If Drunk, Do Not Drive’. New Year’s Eve sees the highest number of drunken driving cases and these can end up jeopardizing innocent lives. To ensure the city is safe TABcab will deploy all its on-road cabs across the party hubs, pubs/bars and 5 star hotels between 8 PM to 4AMon the night of the 31st of December.
TAB cab as part of this initiative has imparted special training to the Saathis ensuring calm and courteous behavior with all passengers including those in an inebriated state. TABcab will also set up a Saathi help desk throughout the night to provide assistance in case of any emergency or support needed.
Adding on Mr. Prasenjeet Bagchi, Chief Marketing Officer, TABcab said “this initiative will aim to make Mumbai’s streets more safer by ensuring that all partygoers have an alternative mode of transportation and are not forced to take the wheel in an inebriated state.TABcab is committed in assisting the Mumbai Traffic Police and ensuring people have an option to reach home safely”.
