Super successful alumnus returns to recruit from his alma mater; makes ITM University proud

It is not every day that a prized alumnus of an institution returns to the campus as a recruiter heading a fledgling firm and inspiring his juniors. But when Kashish Jhamb returned to ITM University, Gurgaon, just five years after passing out as a IT graduate, his teachers could not but feel immensely proud.

An entrepreneur of a distinctive class, Kashish who is the founder CEO of City Innovates, an IT, education, management, and e-commerce solutions providing company, has scripted a sensational story of success for himself.

An alumnus of the 2008 batch, Electronic and Computer Engineering, from ITM, Kashish went on to do his Masters from the University of Alberta, AB, Canada. He then founded City Innovates, that assists people in making efficient career choices and empowers people with management and IT skills.

The company is going increasingly global, and expanding its business in the US and Singapore. Jhamb, a successful entrepreneur who founded his company just two years back, is only getting better by the day.

He serves as an Adjunct Research Associate at ITM University, and sets a perfect example to the alumni community of ITMU to emulate, in transferring knowledge to competencies, leading to a successful venture, and then giving back in good measure to the alma mater.

In fact, when he returned recently to ITM University to recruit fresh graduates for his company, he turned out to be the second biggest campus recruiter.

A spirited and passionate young emerging business leader endowed with a rare ability to read the future, and with an impeccable grasp of how to develop and position his products, Kashish is indeed looking to script a rare success story — only a few men would dare do so.

“It is both gratifying and extremely humbling for me to return to my prestigious University as a recruiter. For any alumnus it is a great pleasure to give back to the alma mater,” says Kashish.
